Once an inspection determines that a property is vacant, MMC Solutions LLC takes immediate steps to secure and protect it. A contractor will secure the property and perform a lock change in accordance with investor or insurer guidelines. If the property is in pre-foreclosure, the lock is changed on a secondary entry point when possible. In post-foreclosure cases, all locks are replaced.

During both pre- and post-foreclosure securing, properties are regularly inspected to identify any damages or debris. In colder climates, plumbing systems are winterized to prevent damage from freezing temperatures. All findings are documented with photographs and detailed written reports, which are then submitted to the client.
